CV: James Dillon Wright aka Dillon Boy (b. May 29, 1979) is a contemporary artist, graphic designer, toy designer, and illustrator who emerged from the subculture of street art. Dillon’s style combines attitude branding, advertising, and pop culture.

Dillon Boy is an American based artist who combines colorful spray paint, ink doodles, cut stencils, and paper collage into witty and satirical, sometimes lowbrow visual narratives. He wanders the planet with his briefcase, a brush and an arsenal of artwork, exhibiting from the US to Europe. (Read more about Dillon Boy, including a video below his artworks).

His style is rooted deep with personal philosophy, freedom of expression, and childhood inspirations. He has been painting, spray painting, doodling, illustrating, designing toys, and filming short films for more than twenty years.

Dillon Boy currently lives and creates inside the city of Las Vegas, NV. He recently moved from Aviano, Italy (about an hour outside of Venice, Italy) where he lived for 4 years. He has exhibited internationally since 2007 and has received critical reviews in magazines alongside contemporary artists such as Banksy, Shepard Fairey of OBEY, and D*Face.

His work is collected worldwide and was recently featured in a TIME Magazine Person of the Year 2008 article that featured Fairey’s Barack Obama “Hope” poster on the cover.
